Loki was, in essence, an agent of change. A trickster, a liar and a thief.
So maybe he had it coming.
In a cave, Loki lies, bound by iron, a snake dripping poison into his eyes.
His ever-faithful wife, Sigyn, catches the poison in an earthen bowl,
but when she must empty it, the ground shakes with Loki's pain.
After three winters of war and bitterness, the earth will shake and Loki
will be released. The bonds of the great wolf, Fenrir, will break. The serpent,
Jormungand, will rise and spit poison over the world. Loki will lead the dead
from Helheim to battle and Ragnarok, the battle to end all things, will begin.
But then... something happens. And the world is either in less trouble. Or a whole lot more.
